Gozo, Malta's sister island, is situated in the heart of the Mediterranean just 40 nautical miles south of Sicily and just over 120 nautical Miles north of North Africa.Our coastline is rich with harbours, inlets and coves between long stretches of cliffs. Gozo is a typical example of a Mediterranean island with a wealth of history and evidence of the civilisations that have, throughout the times, settled on the island; and, above all, amazing clear blue seas, a must for all divers.Here, the Mediterranean sea is at its richest, with abundant marine life, dramatic underwater scenery, caves, reefs, drop offs and visibility often in excess of 40 metres
It is a famous recreational diving spot and divers are coming from everywhere in the world to have fun in its clear and warm water, all year long.
St. Andrew's Divers Cove has been in operation since 1989 in the picturesque fishing village of Xlendi on the south west coast of Gozo. Local divers and a unique record of repeat foreign customers are proof of the service that our staff offer. We are open every day of the year and offer our services in English, German, French, Italian and Spanish. Ample accommodation is available in Gozo. The staff of St. Andrew's Divers Cove can advise and book accomodation in comfortable self-catering apartments as well as in hotels. We also take care of organising car hire, taxi service and airport transfers.
St. Andrew's Divers Cove is geared to host individual divers as well as large groups. Divers are welcome to join other divers of similar experience on accompanied dives or else, if suitably qualified, dive unaccompanied, (once already familiar with the dive sites). St. Andrew's Divers Cove also offers regular boat dives First timers and divers who want to improve their knowledge will be coached by our professional instructors for beginner dives or a large choice of courses. |
